BOOKS FOR BOYS!

Last month, a group of Year 7 boys walked into the LRC and were excited to find a new selection of books designed to entice and engage more robust, rugged and adventurous minds. The new acquisitions, which cover such subjects as soccer, Sherlock Holmes and the supernatural, are available to borrow from the LRC by both boys and girls and can be found in a special display by the window. Special thanks to Chris Powney (Mr Powney’s dad), a lifelong reader, for donating several of the titles himself and also to Mrs Kellett for presenting the new collection so beautifully… sorry – ruggedly!
