Palmer’s Visit: French Master Class
04 July 2012
On the 18th of June 2012, Mrs North, Head of Languages and five A Level students from Palmer’s College delivered a French Master class to top set Year 10.
Mrs North offered words of advice on how to achieve top marks in French GCSE. Palmer’s students helped Year 10 students gain a clear understanding of complex tenses.
Mrs Feriani – Director of Languages
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I learnt a lot. I’m now considering taking a language at A Level, as I was shown how many doors a language A Level can open for me. It is great that a wide range of language courses are offered. This means I could learn a new language instead of carrying on with French or Spanish. Not only did I learn a lot from the teachers but the students too, they helped us when we were stuck and for that I’m grateful. I also took a tour around the college. The facilities available will help my learning and the support that the students and teachers gave us was extremely helpful.
