Year 7 Day trip to Boulogne

04 July 2012

On Friday 25th May forty year 7 pupils spent the day in Boulogne Sur–Mer with Mrs Delarue-Ward, Miss Boureda, Mrs Abbott, Mr O’Brien and Mr Austin. They had an early start leaving the school at 6.00am to catch the shuttle in Folkestone. For many of them it was their first time on the shuttle and they were very excited.

In Boulogne Sur-Mer pupils had a fun day going into a bakery and seeing baguettes and croissants made in a French traditional way, they also went into a Sea Life centre called Nausicaa, had their lunch on the beach and finally they went shopping to the “ Cité d’Europe” practising their French skills and using their euros!

They all had a lovely day filled with good memories, discovering a different culture and using their linguistic skills.
